Time for a little good old fashioned gay murder! For our 75th edition of Queer Cinema Club, we are bringing out an all-timer: Alfred Hitchcock’s wildly homoerotic and psychosexual Strangers on a Train, which just so happens to be turning 75 years old this year.

Adapted from the novel of the same name by Patricia Highsmith (also the author behind two previous QCCs: Carol and The Talented Mr. Ripley), the film follows two strangers (Farley Granger and Robert Walker) who meet — you guessed it — on a train. What happens from there is a thrilling ride of relentless queer coded suspense that only Hitchcock could offer, and we are so excited to experience it again with you all at the Paradise come September 23rd. But please be wary of any gay strangers you may meet that night!
